Getting things moving

When things don't work out - move on.

Since I am in the business of designing web sites I have at last started to revise this one - and make it easier to read! as well as being fast-loading.

I wasn't really happy with the previous editions which were a bit fussy, but I was so busy coding sites for other people I did not have spare time to update my own.

Very much like the tale of the shoemaker's children who ran around barefoot!!

Now that I have done the hard graft of getting the style and presentation more or less right all I have to do is enter content.  Easy peasy!

The layout should allow for long page to display properly and leave the menu section stationary at the left.

On a cautionary note if you don't follow standards your site may never be found.

p.s. this site only works properly on www.macsvision.net - there are unresolved cgi issues on the original www.plus.net server . But they do have fantastic deals on broadband and home phone services
